Neil,Is it God's will to have Catholic priests and nuns waiting at your crusades so that those who come forward to dedicate their lives to "Christ" can go back to the catholic church? Is it truth to say that the catholic church preaches the same gospel as what Billy Graham says he believes? Is it right to say that pope John Paul II was the greatest spiritual leader? All of these things are true about the beloved Billy Graham. He may be a real nice man, but he doesn't stand wholeheartedly for the truth. He even said on Larry King Live that he doesn't belive in Hell. "Woe unto you when all men speak well of you". Our Lord said that for a reason. |

Jessica,With no disrespect to your comment, it sounds like a romance novel. But you are right, many woman (and men) will do anything and endure anything to get married and they absolutely must have someone in their life, even if the person is totally wrong for them. I am single and have never married and I will be 35. Yes, I do feel like I am getting old (compared to my spify 20's) but frankly I enjoy being single. I love it......honestly, with no complaints (even on Valentine's Day). In my 20's when I had a couple marriage proposals from Christian and non-Christians, I refused all of them. I am not the marrying kind, I think.....I prefer adventure, not being tied down to house and home and a romper room full of children. But that is just me. In the Bible, God gives those of us who are believers a choice as to whether or not to get married. I have chosen not to and I believe will have less problems as a result of that. But to those who do choose to get married, your advice is much needed to many who "think" they are in love and who absolutely must have someone in their life. |

Cbc,You crack me up......Geraldo RIvera stated Elvis and Anna Nicole Smith are in heaven and having a great time!!!!!! What the heck does Geraldo Rivera know? Yes, we live in a world where it's politically correct to say everything nice and positive and tolerant, even though it isn't true but it's just that we don't want to upset anyone now.......this philosophy comes from Norman Vincent Peale in which Robert Shueler and many other evangelical leaders have adopted into their rhetoric. Of course, it is straight from the pit of Hell. I am sure you know that already. |
