So, it'll be up to the elders of a church or its own, internal government that would dictate what can be spoken of from the pulpit. That's a good exercise of separating Church and State.
After the War, no one bought into the argument of the Nazi guards and soldiers. It didn't matter what the actual law was. They were found guilty for crimes against humanity. The pecking order, in an ultimate sense, provides no shelter against wicked men.
The New Testament reaffirmed the laws on sexual morality in both specific and blanket terms. The NT terminated the ceremonial and gentile/Jew laws in specific and blanket terms.
Get the state out of accrediting schools and loans. The cost of school would plummet. The state should only prosecute fraud on students, etc. The market should control the cost of any particular financial institution.
Regarding healthcare.... Try to cash pay... It's nuts
It's worth thinking about. Why is education expensive when information has never been cheaper and more plentiful? You can hear a Harvard lecture without being a Harvard student. Why is education so pricey? It is one of the easiest things of all for the market to provide at a cheap rate. One reason in the US is the over availability of student loans.
It's economic fascism. One more layer of over taxation isn't necessary. 300 educational hours to learn to shampoo... Shows how idiotic the State can become when it operates outside its God ordained sphere. The market can and does create self regulating bodies and effects, especially if you want to buy insurance. It's this type of Statism that creates ripe conditions for persecuting Christian florists, bakers, etc.
“The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked, And the one who loves violence His soul hates. Upon the wicked He will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.” â€â€Psalms‬ â€11:5-6‬ â€NASB‬‬ http://bible.com/100/psa.11.5-6.nasb
You guys are at it again with the boogeyman that is dominionism. Gnats and camels. You're like watchmen that occupy yourselves with women and children but neglect to stop enemy armies. The other three (Trump, Clinton, and Sanders) are far more harmful to our religious liberties and the unborn, but you obsess on this man. Being incorrigible isn't a virtue.
The boogie man that is dominionism. You worry about monsters under your bed, Owen while the country gets worse. Gnats and camels, Owen, gnats and camels. You didn't answer my question even. How can he make the situation worse? And this fallen world argument is nonsensical. The world is fallen but the faithful work to improve it. The slave trade is gone from Great Britian, right? Is every nation equally unjust? Nope. So this attitude of, the world is fallen so let's do nothing is awful and dangerous. Innocent people die because of this type of attitude. The gospel is shut out in some nations because of this attitude. It's a bad attitude and a bad argument.
3 Corinthians 1:1 "I beseech ye therefore brethren, avoid small churches for the sake of your children. If any brother falls into sin and attends a small church, he has denied the faith and is an infidel."
Mr. Johnson is working a weak theory. America is more wicked because it's been getting wicked for almost two hundred years. The problem with evangelicals isn't politics, it's compartmentalization. They "do God" most Sundays and that's it. Repentance is unheard of. Christian fruit barely exists, if at all, in the rest of their lives (eg entertainment, use of free time, education, child rearing, work, etc.)
